Here is a Type IV store specialty area! No where else will you find crankshafts with this many possibilities! Take advantage of our resources that can make the Type IV crankshaft even more bulletproof than ever! Here we use our own inspected cores to make great crankshafts from and we modify each for its intended purpose. This could be anything from a stock regrind to a crank made to turn a sustained 9,000 RPM. Here we have learned that not every engine benefits from a "counterweighted crank" so we have taken our years of experience, R&D and trial and error and came up with more Type IV crankshafts than anyone! Many of these cranks are the same as those that have helped us build a legendary reputation in the aircooled VW performance industry. Of course these cranks are an integral part of our Type 4 store engine kits, because the crankshaft is always the heart of the engine. I have gone to great lengths to round up a full line of the best crankshafts available and put a ton of time into testing these with various engines to find compatibility issues so the best crankshaft and connecting rod "kits" can be offered.

 All our performance cranks are precision balanced and are set to the tolerances and bearing clearances that we have found to work best with our connecting rods and overall engine combinations.  Note that we only offer the cranks listed, any other would be a R&D part and those are not sold to the public.
