This is a big category for us because we have a more extensive line of cylinders and pistons than any other Type IV Retail supplier! Over the years we have not seen any other product go down hill as much as the Type IV cylinder and piston kit.
Please note as you browse here that you will not see a single cylinder and piston kit larger than 96mm that is not Aluminum. These huge 103 and 105mm kits are sold by those that don’t build the best Type IV engines to make huge displacements a possibility. In our experience at Aircooled Technology we have seen nothing but heartache come from the use of these and we refuse to sell a cylinder and piston kit larger than 96mm in cast iron. Its all “Nickies” after 96mm here. If you want a huge cast iron bored cylinder, go to our competitor and they’ll take your money and sell you something made in a third world country for pennies per hour that won’t do anything except hurt your engine's performance. Trust that any part that we sell in this category is a quality part, at the same time understand that if you don’t see something listed, we do not use it in our engines and I don’t recommend that you use it in yours!
